What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
Your mission will be to drive the commercial growth of a sports nutrition brand by building relationships with professionals in the field, partners, distributors, sports centers, and B2C channels. To do this, you’ll combine business development, partnership management, marketing activation, and market analysis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Identifying, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities in the sports, wellness, and nutrition sectors.
Building relationships with sports dietitians, nutritionists, coaches, physical therapists, clinics, gyms, performance centers, and retailers.
Managing the sales pipeline, finding and following up on leads, conducting presentations, negotiating, and closing deals.
Identifying brand ambassadors, affiliates, sponsorships, and collaborations with clubs, athletes, coaches, and leading professionals.
Supporting and promoting campaigns, events, activations, educational initiatives, and promotional activities alongside the marketing team.
Representing the brand at trade shows, conferences, sporting events, and meetings with partners.
Analyzing competitors, trends, pricing, positioning, and growth opportunities.
Using CRM, internal tools, and digital platforms to report on activity, KPIs, and sales performance.
What will make you succeed in this role?
We are looking for someone with a background in sports nutrition, dietetics, sports science, health sciences, physical education, business, marketing, sales, or sales management. We particularly value candidates who combine a scientific or sports background with experience in sales, business development, or partnership management.
Bilingual or Native-level English and fluent Spanish are essential, as you’ll be working with international markets with a special focus on North America. You must also be available to travel and have experience in the North American market, its channels, commercial dynamics, and opportunities within the sports, wellness, or performance sectors.
Additionally, experience working with CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, e-commerce tools, SaaS platforms, and social media will be helpful. Knowledge of the sports industry (teams),supplement industry, sports recovery, nutrition, performance, and wellness will also be highly valued.
